The course focuses on key concepts of Research Methodology, including Research Problem, Research Design, Sampling Techniques, Research Proposal, Data Collection, Data Analysis, and Research Report. With hands-on learning experience, students gain knowledge and skills required for assessing generated and collected data. Students apply the basic steps and principles required in sorting, organizing, summarizing and describing variables as well as testing and measuring different sorts of linkages and associations between and among variables in their research and the writing up processes. Additionally, students analyze experimental designs, utilized in confirmatory research studies, and establish causal relationships between interventions and outcomes. They also investigate and interpret surveys, results, ethical protocol in research, effective communication of data, biases of researchers, integrity, the writing up of findings and other related issues.
