Making Islamic Education Affordable
The long-term vision of the Canadian Islamic College is to cultivate learners who will become agents of positive transformation in society. CIC is committed to ensuring that access to Islamic higher education remains achievable and sustainable over the long term. To support students in meeting the cost of their education, the College offers multiple financial aid initiatives designed to reduce barriers and promote access.
Financing Your Degree
Post-secondary education represents a significant investment, and CIC understands that affordability is an important part of the university decision-making process. At this time, students will not be able to access OSAP funding, as the College is newly established. In accordance with OSAP regulations, CIC does not expect to qualify for this program before at least the 2027–2028 academic year.
Lifelong Learning Plan
Students may also consider financing their education through the Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP), an initiative of the Government of Canada intended to support higher education and training. The LLP allows eligible individuals to withdraw up to $10,000 per year from their Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to finance education or training for themselves or their spouse.

Financial Aid & Bursaries
Financial Aid and Bursaries
To help eliminate cost barriers to studying at the Canadian Islamic College, the College offers entrance bursaries awarded based on demonstrated financial need. These bursaries are intended to support students at the start of their academic journey and ensure access to Islamic higher education remains achievable.
Entrance bursaries range from $1,000 to $6,000 CAD, depending on individual financial circumstances and eligibility criteria.
